the early hours of Day 62 of the Afghan war, the Taliban ran for their
lives from their last two strongholds of Kandahar and Spin Boldak.
There are reports that Mullah Omar is captured. And Ariel Sharon
has challenged Yasser Arafat with the one thing he cannot provide, law
and order.
December 6 (Day 340, Division of the Land): The
Taliban have agreed to surrender tomorrow in Kandahar. The main caves
of Tora Bora have been captured, but there is no sign of bin Laden.
A gunman killed one and injured 6 at a factory in Goshen, Indiana before
he killed himself. Israel resumed striking Palestinian targets after
Arafat failed to arrest terrorists.
November 24 (Day 328, Cosmic Stronghold): Over
a thousand Taliban and foreign troops streamed out of Kunduz in convoys
of pickup trucks and surrendered to the Northern Alliance. Violent
tornadoes in Arkansas and Mississippi killed 7. An earthquake hit
northern Afghanistan. And a Swiss jetliner crashed.
October 7 (Day 280, Cosmic Stronghold): The
US military with assistance from Great Britain launched an attack on Afghanistan
to wipe out terrorist strongholds. Barry Bonds hit his 73rd homer,
and Rickey Henderson got his 3,000th hit. And Hurricane Iris raked
Jamaica.
September 24 (Day 267, Giving of Worldly Possessions):
President
Bush froze the assets of 27 terrorists and terrorist organizations.
Bin Laden called for a Holy War, and the Taliban commander called for the
end of US support for Israel against the Palestinians. A weather
elephant and a goat appeared on the weather map to represent the US and
bin Laden.
September 22 (Day 265, Going Down): A
Houston jury has determined that Andrea Yates, who has admitted to killing
her 5 children, is competent to stand trial on capital murder charges.
Weather angels and wild hogs hit the Houston area to herald the decision.
And three new tropical storms formed in the regions of Ecumenical, Political,
and Cosmic Babylon.
September 11 (Day 254, Redemption): The
USA was hit with a major terrorist attack this morning when airliners were
hijacked and crashed into the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon
in a day that will live in infamy like the attack on Pearl Harbor.
August 8 (Day 220, Cursing): Andrea
Pea Yates of Clear Lake City, Texas was arraigned on capital murder charges.
The CIA Headquarters caught fire yesterday. The escaped alligator
in Romulus was captured, and the pilot of the hijacked Cessna that went
to Cuba was returned to Miami.
July 30 (Day 211, Witness): After Rafael
Hezkein was stabbed in the Moslem Quarter of Jerusalem, and his blood-stained
Bible was left lying on the street. Andrea Yates of Clear Lake City,
Texas was indicted on capital murder charges in the drowning of her five
children. And Typhoon Toraji rolled into Southern China.
June 20 (Day 171, Strait): Andrea Yates,
36, killed her 5 children this morning in Clear Lake City, Texas.
Last night in California a 10-year old boy was savagely attacked by 3 pit
bulls. President Bush began a new round of diplomacy for the Middle
East.
June 11 (Day 162, The End): Timothy
McVeigh, the Oklahoma City Bomber, came to his end on Day 162, which means
the end. His death was linked to Sharon Stone and the Dalai Lama
as well as the remnants of Tropical Storm Allison. The Palestinians
rejected CIA Director Tenet's security proposal.
May 24 (Day 144, Suffering): The Versailles
banquet hall in Jerusalem collapsed during a wedding celebration.
Many dead and injured were trapped in the rubble of the three-story building.
Senator Jim Jeffords of Vermont announced his defection from the Republicans,
and Republican control of the Senate came crashing down.
April 22 (Day 112, Witness of Authority): A
tornado that ripped through Hoisington, Kansas last night cut a path three
blocks wide. One person was killed and the city devastated.
The tornado heralded the signing of the free trade pact at the Summit of
the Americas in Qubec. The pact violated the divine institution of
nationalism from the Tower of Babel.
April 13 (Day 103, Production of the Justice of
the Holy Spirit): A pair of eagles was over the Pacific as the
Navy Court of Inquiry delivered its report to Admiral Fargo in Hawaii.
China's President Zemin was in Cuba. Slobodan Milosevic's incarceration
was linked to the EP-3 incident. And an elephant killed a couple
in Malaysia.
January 1 (Day 1, Unity): The year,
2001, per the number of the year means one, or unity, which includes the
whole, all, completion, uniqueness, a system, God' Love, light, the Ark
of the Covenant, the LORD, a standard, and Marriage. This year is
predicted to represent the Love of God as symbolized by light.
