Links: | Churchill Downs |June 22, (Day 173, Freedom): A tornado struck the Churchill Downs racetrack during President Obama's address to the nation on troop withdrawals from Afghanistan. Some of the barns on the back side of the track were damaged and left uninhabitable. And some of the horses ran around frightened. Racing was suspended for a day. Churchill Downs is the home of the Kentucky Derby in Louisville.
The tornado struck at 8:04 PM EDT (0004 GMT) just as President Obama was beginning his speech about Afghanistan troop withdrawals. He announced withdrawal of 10,000 troops this year, and withdrawal of all the 33,000 surge troops by next September. The Presidential announcement was a major policy statement about war in the world. His decision as explained in terms of economic problems at home meant the money could be better spent here.
The weather angels painted the picture in the sky. The day before the speech, there was a picture of a Mighty Warrior and a horse. The morning of the speech, there was a picture of four horses, like the Four Horses of the Apocalypse. This put everything in perspective because the Black Horse for Economic Recession follows the Red Horse of war. During the day before the President's speech the Federal Reserve Chairman admitted he was clueless as to what was causing the soft spot in the economic recovery. During the President's speech, the picture of a staff was over Kentucky. A staff, rod, or shepherd's crook corresponds to the rod of cataclysmic judgment, like the Plagues of Egypt. A staff has symbolized other Obama activities since he was running for office. Kentucky is the home of the 101st Airborne Division, which is carrying a heavy load in Afghanistan.
It was June 22, where 22 stands for cursing.
The full 33,000 surge troops will be withdrawn by next September before the Presidential Election in November. The number, 33, stands for the purifying Judgment of the Holy Spirit. It also means turning away, such as turning away from the problems of apostasy. Apostates make a mess of things, and they cannot be helped by God. They have to be cursed. Such is the case with Islamic nations which are anti-Semitic. They cannot be helped.
There is no military solution in Afghanistan. The only solution is Christianity. Only Christians can turn the tide in Afghanistan. The battle is Spiritual. The battle is the Lord's. The same goes for our economic woes from the Black Horse. The Prostitute of Babylon, who controls the world economy, has been Judged, and only Christians can fight that war.
