No Deal in Sight with Arafat

Powell Diplomacy Succeeds in Lebanon

April 16 (Day 106, Production of a Man):  After Colin Powell's trips to Lebanon and Syria yesterday, the northern border of Israel is suddenly quiet.  Hizbullah terrorists have stopped shooting.  Powell convinced either the Lebanese or Syrians that now was not the time to back Hizbullah terrorists.  And today, it was obvious to the Israeli army that the Hizbullah were no long in a high state of alert, and they were no longer interested in escalating the conflict on the northern border of Israel.  Israel is so sure of the change that it is reopening the Mt. Herman resort tomorrow.  Mt. Herman has been closed in recent weeks due to security problems.

No Deal in Sight with Arafat

As US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, prepares to leave the Middle East tomorrow, there is no deal in sight with Yasser Arafat, who is demanding a full Israeli withdrawal before a cease fire.  However, Arafat's ability to conduct terrorism has been seriously crippled from the Israeli invasion.  The reduction in violence in Israel is directly related to the reduction in terrorists.  Powell will try to get some kind of agreement in which Arafat rejects terrorism.  The agreement will likely fail as soon as Powell leaves the region, however.

Weather

No tornadoes were reported in the USA.  There were at least 25 hail and 1 wind damage reports.  The severe weather was mostly in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Today, an image that resembled a bear-man was over Louisiana and stretched into the central USA to Minnesota and South Dakota.  The image of the hand of God was off the east coast.  A whirlwind elephant was over the Pacific northwest.  And the image of a lion was in the Pacific off the west coast of Mexico.  A bear represents Baal.  A lion in the wilderness to the south represents Satan, the roaring lion who seeks someone to devour.  An elephant represents a demon Commander, such as Baal.

Conclusion

The severe weather, which was mostly hail, was over Ohio and Pennsylvania.  Hail represents the frigid female in Marriage Culture.  Ohio is in the region of Naphtali and represents the peace process, while Pennsylvania is in the region of Issachar, the donkey and symbol of a retreat.  Colin Powell's compromise peace plan calls for Israel to withdraw and the Palestinians to receive an independent state.  Thus, the peace doctrine is associated with Ohio, and the withdrawal is associated with Pennsylvania.

Colin Powell's diplomacy worked with Lebanon.  After his trip to Lebanon and Syria, the Hizbullah terrorists were suddenly quiet, and there was no more shooting on Israel's northern border.  The Israeli army recognized immediately that the Hizbullah were no longer on alert.  Consequently, Israel will reopen Mt. Herman tomorrow.  Herman means army man.  Powell is the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

There was a large image that resembled part bear and part man over Louisiana and the central USA.  A bear represents Baal.  Louisiana is the region of Simeon criminality.  The Israeli jails are now full of Palestinian terrorists, and yesterday they captured the biggest one of all, Marwan Barghouti, who is number 2 in Arafat's terrorists organization.

The image of the hand of God was off the east coast of the USA.  The hand of God almost always stands for punishment (Job 19:21).  And there was an image of a lion off the west coast of Mexico.  A lion in the wilderness to the south represents Satan who seeks someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

Today was April 16th, for sanctification.  And it was Day 106, for the production of a man.  Due to the diplomacy of Colin Powell, a former General, Israel will reopen Mt. Herman tomorrow.  Herman means army man.
