Links: | Reuters | Ha'aretz | 1 | NY Times |June 9 (Day 160, Sanctification): As Israeli Prime Minster, Ariel Sharon shuttled to Washington, DC for a meeting with President Bush, Palestinian Chairman, Yasser Arafat shuffled his Cabinet. Sharon, who will meet with President Bush tomorrow, is bringing a clear vision and objectivity as expressed in his editorial today in the New York Times. Arafat shuffled his Cabinet, pared it down, and appointed 5 new ministers in preparation for its first meeting tomorrow.
With Sharon in no mood to talk peace with a terrorist and with Arafat's support at an all-time low in the Bush Administration, Arafat decided to implement some of the demands of CIA Director, George Tenet. Arafat appointed a new Interior Minister over security forces to take over a job that he has previously shared with no one. But he appointed General Abdel-Razzaq al-Yahya, who is from the old generation that looks back according to Israeli Defense Minister, Ben-Eliezer. And Palestinian police arrested, Sheikh Abdallah Shami, the leader of the Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip and 14 other Islamic Jihad members. Two of the Islamic Jihad member are believed to have been involved in the Megiddo Junction bombing. Shami has been arrested several times before and released.
Arafat cut his Cabinet from 31, for an evil king, to 21, for providential preventative suffering. Translated, this means Arafat is in a safe haven like the corner of a checker board where no one can touch him. Arafat's 5 new ministers correspond to the number for a giant, such as Baal.

Seventy airbags attached to the hull are being filled with air to help lift the ship while tug boats pull. The Spiegel Grove sank belly up on May 17th in an unsuccessful attempt to make an artificial reef to attract scuba divers from around the world.
There were at least 58 hail and 22 wind damage reports.
Today, a weather elephant stretched from the Pacific northwest to the Great Lakes. An elephant represents a demon Commander, such as Baal.

Today Yasser Arafat shuffled his Cabinet and arrested the leader of the Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip and 14 other Islamic Jihad members. The Florida waterspout heralded Arafat's moves. Arafat now has 21 members of his Cabinet, for providential preventative suffering, instead of 31, for an evil king. This doesn't mean that Arafat is no longer the evil king. It must means he has found a safe haven.
Meanwhile, Ariel Sharon has arrived in Washington, DC in no mood for compromise. He is due to meet with President Bush tomorrow. President Bush, who spent the week-end with Mubarak at Camp David has cozied to the Arabs. Now his Presidency is stalled.
Today as NASA Astronaut Franklin Chang-Díaz performed his fist spacewalk, Tropical Storm Boris popped up off the west coast of Mexico. The Tropical Storm is, thus, related to Chang-Díaz, the Hispanic astronaut, just as Hurricane Alma was related to him during the first attempt to launch STS-111.
And Noguri became a typhoon in the northwest Pacific. It is on a course for Japan.
Today was June 9th, for the Plagues of Egypt. And it was day 160, for sanctification.
The Spiritual Life begins with Salvation. The Lord Jesus Christ personally died for the sins of everyone in the world. There is now nothing to prevent anyone from being saved other than negative volition. For those who want a new Spiritual Life that is Eternal, it is available for the asking. Salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). "Everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have Eternal Life" (John 3:16b).
