Links: | Ha'aretz | AP |January 28 (Day 28, Cosmic Stronghold): Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his Likud Party won Israel's parliamentary elections in a rout of the Labor Party. Preliminary results include: Likud - 38 seats, Labor - 19, Shinui - 15, Shas - 11. Now, Sharon must cobble together a ruling coalition, and that may present problems. Sharon has reportedly said that he would not form a narrow, right-wing government, but would seek a unity coalition. But Labor has vowed not to be a part of the government. In fact Labor is the reason the re-election was required in the first place, since it walked out of the previous government. Sharon has reportedly said that if he fails to form a unity government, he will call for new elections. Many of the smaller, right wing parties would be happy to join the government, but they would require a hardline approach to terrorists, which Washington cannot tolerate.

He laid out a $674 billion plan to revive the economy and a $400 billion, 10-year plan to overhaul Medicare. He also laid out the case against Saddam Hussein. And he said that Secretary of State Colin Powell would go to the UN Security Council on February 5th to present the US case against Iraq. He also said the US will not hesitate to act alone against Iraq.
Links: | AP |The weather angels struck Cyprus and the Mediterranean yesterday with a vengeance that delayed the arrival of the 15-ship British naval task force that was gathering off Cyprus to continue to the Gulf. The ships were en route to the Gulf to support the US coalition against Saddam Hussein.
Waterspouts that formed off Cyprus came ashore and wrought havoc. The first tornado that came ashore near the port area of Limassol extensively damaged shops and littered the streets with trees, broken glass, and debris as water tanks were ripped from rooftops. Twenty-eight people received mostly minor injuries as the tornado struck around 10:00 AM (0800 GMT) as businesses were opening. Limassol is at 34 N., for the division of the land, and 33 E., for the purifying Judgment of the Holy Spirit.
About two hours later, the second tornado came ashore in the coastal area of Larnaca, near Kiti village, about 45 miles (70 kilometers to the east. Homes and property were damaged, but there were no injuries reported. Larnaca is also at 34 N. and 33 E.
A weather elephant stretched from the Great Lakes to Texas, while another large one was in the Atlantic. An elephant represents a demon Commander, such as Baal.
As President Bush gave his annual State of the Union address tonight, a large weather elephant was in the Atlantic in the region of Political Babylon. This, again represented US foreign policy stuck in the Cosmic System. President laid out the case to condemn Saddam Hussein, but his explanation failed to explain Saddam's link with terrorism. Bush doesn't recognize the Palestinians as terrorists. In spite of a year of war on terrorism, the US has yet to execute a single terrorist. What justice?
Another weather elephant stretched from the Great Lakes to Texas. The Great Lakes are in the region of Naphtali, the doe and symbol of peace. And Texas is the home state of President Bush. The weather elephant represented the adultery of Reuben, Bush's foreign policy of calling for a democratic Palestine, and Sharon's re-election that appears to be hamstrung by Bush foreign policy. In spite of all the peace talk, the results of the Israeli election moved to the right just as did the recent US mid-term election. The Likud won 38 seats, the number for dying in the wilderness.
This was January 28th, for a cosmic stronghold. US forces in Afghanistan were engaged against a cosmic stronghold of Afghan rebels in the largest firefight since the end of the Afghan war.
