He declared toward Iraq, "the game is over." He called upon the UN to show resolve in dealing with Iraq's open defiance of UN Resolution 1441. He also tied the killing of US diplomat Lawrence Foley in Aman, Jordan November 8th to an Iraqi al-Qa'eda terrorist cell.
Bush's blunt speech came as a warning that he is on the road to war as the US 101st Airborne Division was ordered to the Gulf today. The Army's 101st Airborne, from Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, saw action in the last Gulf War.
