Links: | CBS News |February 26 (Day 57, Zebulun): Dan Rather of CBS News interviewed Saddam Hussein for three hours on February 24th. As new excerpts of the interview were broadcast today, there were startling new revelations. Saddam Hussein told Dan Rather, "If you attack us, we will not surrender." Rather said, "Mr. President you say that knowing that poised on your border is a tremendous armada ready to deliver destruction and awe." To which Saddam replied, "Yes, I understand. I hear. I see. But the final truth is decided by God Almighty through the Iraqis here, here in Iraq."
It sounded good, but, then, Saddam thinks Allah is God Almighty.
Dan Rather is 71, for a strait. In the interview Rather was caught between the US and Iraq. Saddam even asked him to moderate a debate between himself and President Bush.

He also linked a democracy in Iraq to a democratic Palestinian state living side-by-side with Israel in peace. He expressed his commitment to the Road Map for Peace and said that in the future Israeli settlement activity would have to cease.

Here the numbers mean: the division of the land (34), and Satan's strategic attack on Israel (24).

Today, on February 26th, President Bush gave his version of the Middle East crisis. Bush said the US would build a democratic nation in Iraq to inspire a democratic Palestinian state living side-by-side with Israel in peace. He further said that he supported the Road Map to Peace in the Middle East, and that in the future Israel would have to cease all settlement activity. Bush spoke of peace as an excuse for war.
And today, the British House of Commons voted 434-124 to back the UN call for Saddam to disarm. Here the numbers mean: the division of the land (34), and Satan's strategic attack on Israel (24). Thus, the disarming of Saddam Hussein is an excuse for a war to democratize Iraq and set the stage for a democratic Palestinian state, which is a strategy that defies the Abrahamic Covenant.
All this was illustrated on the weather map by a large elephant that stretched from Washington, DC to Texas, the home state of President Bush. The elephant represents a demon Commander, such as Baal. The elephant coincided with Bush's speech, which revealed his new perspective of nation building. It wasn't enough to defy the Sovereignty of God to destroy Iraq. Now, he intends to play God and build a democratic nation. Over Colorado on the weather map was an icon of an Arab that resembled a lamb. That represented Yasser Arafat. Colorado is the region of the summits. The Arab icon represented Bush's vision of giving away the land of Abraham to the Palestinians.
Dan Rather, 71, for a strait, conducted the interview with Saddam Hussein. Today, Tropical Cyclone #19 was in the Mozambique Channel, which is a strait. The position between Iraq and the US is analogous to a strait.
Today was February 26th, for Political Babylon. The US strategy for the Middle East was revealed today. And it was Day 57, for Zebulun, which has been associated with the Palestinians at Gaza. Bush is proclaiming himself the liberator of Iraq and the Palestinians. It would be easier for Saddam Hussein to become a Texan. For the foreigners who are not familiar with the US, Texans are inherently parochial. They would never accept an outsider. Bush thinks he can become the liberator of the Arabs, but the Arabs will never accept him. Saddam would never be accepted as an Texan, and Bush would never be accepted as an Arab.
