Hardest hit were Manchester, South Dakota in Kingsbury County and Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. Manchester was destroyed. Buffalo Lake was heavily damaged, and 4 people were taken to the hospital, but there were no fatalities. The 3/4 mile wide tornado tore through the post office, blew the roof off a liquor store, and heavily damaged a Lutheran church downtown. The Farmers Co-op Elevator a few blocks from downtown was also hit hard.
A tornado singled out the farm of Rod Muhs, 47,
in Mount Vernon, South Dakota at 39863 248th St. The farm was heavily
damaged, and the pet milk cow was thrown 70-80 yards. The house was
left intact, but much of the rest of the farm was destroyed or heavily
damaged. A garage and barn were leveled. A pickup and van were
tossed 20 yards. Two calves from a herd of 21 cows were dead.
The chickens, 30 hens and 100 roosters, were gone. The chicken houses
were gone, along with a cattle shed, feed shed, hoghouse and small storage
building.
There were at least 54 tornadoes reported last
night in South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa. The first tornado
hit Ponca, Nebraska at 42 N., for Baal, the bear, and Russia, and 96 W.,
for the spoils of victory. The image on the weather map this morning
turned out to resemble a goat and an elephant A goat is the
symbol of an evil leader, and an elephant represents a demon Commander,
such as Baal. South Dakota and Minnesota are in the region of Dan,
the judge and symbol of the federal judiciary. Nebraska is in the
region of the Merarites, who represent Fire
Testing.
It was the third night of tornadoes in Nebraska.
A 47-year old man was killed the first night, and a 70-year old man was
killed the next (June 23rd). Curtis Papenhausen, 70, of Cooleridge,
Nebraska was crushed by a tractor when he went out to start an emergency
generator to provide ventilation for his hogs. The image on the SPC
Storm graphic on June 23rd was the image of an assault rife pointed at
New Mexico. The assault rifle heralded the deaths of 6 British MP's
in Iraq, and President Bush's meeting with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.
Both New Mexico and Pakistan are in the region of Gad, the raiding band
or terrorists.
