He finished Stage 19 with a 76 second overall lead after his chief opponent, Jan Ullrich, fell on the rain-slick road and finished 11 seconds behind. The number, 76, stands for skill, and today Lance kept the lead by skill in not falling on a rain-slick road. He is now all but assured his fifth Tour victory tomorrow in Paris, since the overall leader is traditionally not challenged in the final stage. And he will be only the fifth person to win five Tours since the race began in 1903.
The number, 5, stands for grace or a giant, such as Baal. Armstrong was engaged in a battle with Baal from the start this year. An athlete must first win mentally before he can win physically (Isaiah 40:31; Philippians 4:13), and Baal drags the soul into darkness. Prior to the beginning of the Tour, Armstrong had the stomach flu. He was involved in a mass wreck in Stage 1 and finished the stage on a teammate's bicycle #9. He barely avoided a wreck in Stage 9 when Joseba Beloki fell. And he recovered from a wreck in Stage 15 to win the stage. Armstrong preserved his lead today in driving rain under a weather elephant which represented the Baal counterattack.

The 6.2 magnitude (6.1 USGS) quake occurred at 0713/34 AM local time (2213/34 GMT) 20 miles (30 km) NNE of Sendai, Honshu, Japan. No deaths were reported, but over 400 were injured.
The earthquake was at 0713/34, where 13 represents the double blessing of Israel, and 34 is for the division of the land. It was at 38 N., for dying in the wilderness, and 140 E., for the passover.
