Links: | AP |July 31 (Day 212, Authority): The Israeli Knesset passed a law that would force Palestinians who marry Israelis to live separate lives or move out of Israel. The law would prevent Palestinians who marry Israeli Arabs from obtaining residency permits in Israel. In the last 10 years over 100,000 Palestinians have obtained Israeli permits in this manner. The law will be in effect for one year. The vote was 53 to 25 with one abstention. The numbers mean: 53 - a large fish or ship, and 25 - sovereignty.
The law is evil doctrine of demons (1 Timothy 4:1-3). It was passed on the same day that President Bush was trying to explain why he was opposed to homosexual marriage. Homosexual marriage is also evil, but no government has a right to pass any law that restricts marriage or grants divorces (Hebrews 13:4). Marriage is a divine institution and not subject to the laws of the state. The Supreme Court was right in backing away from the sodomy laws. God judges all violations of marriage and sexuality, and there is no need for the state to interfere.
Israel's predicament with the Palestinians is worse than the relationship with the Philistines in the days of Samson. The problem with the Philistines in the first place was the breakdown of Marriage Culture and failure to intermarry. That is the basis of the problem with the Palestinians. Terrorism is not the beginning of the problem. The problem is that the polarized degeneracy between the Israelis and Palestinians is so great that they cannot sustain intermarriage.
