Links: | Ha'aretz | AP |October 26 (Day 300, Judgment): The Israeli Knesset approved Ariel Sharon's Gaza pullout plan by 67 - 45 with 7 abstentions. The vote came at the end of a day of political drama and double-talk that pitted Sharon against various factions who sought a referendum for political cover. Some even argued that a vote to approve the pullout plan was not a final approval to pull out. And Sharon fulfilled his threat to fire the members of the government who opposed the plan. He fired Minister Without Portfolio Uzi Landau and Deputy Minister Michael Ratzon for voting against his plan.
The vote came on October 26, for Political Babylon. It was Day 300, for Judgment. Noah's Ark was 300 cubits long. This means that today's vote was divine Judgment, even though God allowed the Israeli legislators to express their rejection of the Abrahamic Covenant. There were 67 yes votes, for giving of worldly possessions, and 45 opposed, for victory over the stronghold, with 7 abstentions, for Categorical Punishment. Israel voted to give back the worldly possessions, the territory it won in 1967, to the Palestinians, who never had any legitimate claim to the land under any government. The last Israeli who led his country to reject the Abrahamic Covenant with such weakness was Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated November 4, 1995. Sharon's decision was from a position of weakness in 2004, the year for weakness.

The hunt was to last 6 days in order to kill a limit of 30 bears, but it was stopped after 20 were killed the first day. The bear hunt came only after years of legislative and legal wrangling. A bear represents Baal and Russia. Maryland represents national leadership and corresponds to the Tribe of Judah.
A pair of elephants over California represented a witness, as in court. Elephants also represent Baal. California corresponds to Israel. Another elephant stretched through President Bush's home of Crawford, Texas and to the Great Lakes. The Great Lakes are in the region of Naphtali, the doe and symbol of peace. The elephant represented Bush's support for the Middle East peace process and a Palestinian state. The weather over Florida was clear because the Palestinians at Gaza had nothing to do with Israel's decision to withdraw from Gaza.
Israel's plan to pull out of Gaza was to gain the moral high ground with the Bush Administration. However, the vote on Judgment Day was per Divine Design. God has judged Israel. The nation has been given an opportunity to choose for or against the Abrahamic Covenant. Those who reject this covenant will be cursed per Genesis 12:3. The Sovereign Design of God determines human history - not politicians.
