There was heavy damage to some homes and buildings but no major injuries reported. A large whirlwind, which was plainly visible on the weather map, circulated over the region. A whirlwind symbolizes judgment from one's own choices, sowing to the wind and reaping the whirlwind (Hosea 8:7a).
The first tornadoes were reported near Beatrice, Nebraska. Beatrice is from the Latin, Viatrix, meaning voyager, traveler. This was the name of Beatrix Potter, who created the tale of Peter Rabbit. Tomorrow is Easter, and tornadoes with the image of a rabbit overhead clobbered Iowa on April 13.

The storm system that produced the tornadoes also appeared as a large whirlwind. A whirlwind symbolizes self-inflicted punishment under the Law of Volitional Responsibility, i.e. reaping what one sows (Hosea 8:7a).
It was April 15, for a covering, which is God's solution. And it was Day 105, for grace or a giant.
