Meaning of 2007 - a Category
The Year 2007
January 1 (Day 1,
Unity): The year 2007 means
a category. The number, 7, represents a category. God completed
the work of re-creation of the heavens and the earth in six days, and on
the seventh He rested. Thus, the number, 7, refers to the completion
of the category of one week, and the Sabbath day became a day of rest to
commemorate Grace. In Grace, God does the work, and man is free to
respond and reap the benefits of His completed work. At the end of
the 7 days of re-creation, all of the categories of production for man
had been completed. These categories included categories of animal
species, plants, air, land, water, light, the heavens, and the Earth.
There are many different kinds of categories.
There is the Sabbath Day of rest, the category of lamps in the Tabernacle
and colors in the rainbow, cycles of blessing and cursing, categorical
punishment, and the categories of lamps, horns, eyes, and Spirits from
the Heavenly Control Room. The Hebrew
ub^v#, (sheba` ), means seven. The verb form
of the root means to take an oath, or make a contract.
Note: The number, 7, does not mean perfect.
It is not a good-luck charm.
The year, 2007, is the completion of a category
of single-digit numbers beginning in 2001 that represent divine production.
Thus, 2007 should be a magnification of divine production just as the others
have been. The seven years, 2001 through 2007, represent the Cycle
of Blessing for those who are positive to God and the Cycle of Cursing,
or Categorical
Punishment, to those who are negative. The year, 2001, established
the principle of the Love of God. The succeeding years, 2002 through
2005, brought blessing for positive believers or severe Judgment for rejection
of God's Love. The year, 2006, represented the weakness of man.
The year, 2007, will bring the fullness of blessing from God for winners;
but for losers who have sown to the wind, it will bring Categorical
Punishment.
Week of Creation
God re-created the heavens and the Earth in seven
days.
Genesis 2:1-2
1 Thus, the heavens and the Earth were finished
and all their armies. 2 God finished on the seventh day His work
which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which
He had done.
After completing the work of re-creation in six day,
God rested on the seventh day. The precedent defined a week of time
and the concept of a category.
And God blessed the seventh day and set
it apart as holy because He rested on it from all His work which for preparing
God had created. (Genesis 2:3)
God rested on the seventh day as an example of Grace.
In Grace, God does all the work and man is free to respond and receive
the blessing. The categories that were completed on the seventh
day included the heavens and the Earth, and all the things on the Earth.
These are the historical accounts of
the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the time the LORD
God made Earth and the heavens. (Genesis 2:4)
Sabbath Day
To commemorate Grace, the Sabbath Day was to be a
day of rest under the Mosaic Law (Ex
20:8-10). Man's work during six days of the week was cursed (Genesis
3:17-19). The seventh day was set apart as holy under the Mosaic
Law.
“For in six days the Lord made the heavens
and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh
day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus
20:11)
Note, this commandment does not apply literally to
the Church Age.
Spiritual Maturity
The Sabbath rest symbolizes entrance into Grace blessing
of Spiritual Maturity and Spiritual Rapport in the Church Age (Heb
4:9-16). The metaphor of being "filled up" refers to completion
of the category of Spiritual Maturity and Spiritual Rapport (Eph
1:23; 3:19; 4:10; Col 1:9; 2:10; Rom 15:29).
Cycles of Blessing or Cursing
Categories of blessing and cursing were reserved
for Client Nation Israel. Israel would receive cycles of national
(categorical) blessing from obedience to Bible Doctrine (Deut
28:1-14; Lev 26:1-13). Rejection of Bible Doctrine would lead
to the cycles of national discipline (punishment) (Deut
28:15-68; Lev 26:14-45). Seven nations of Canaan had to be defeated
by Joshua's army (Deut
7:1; Acts 13:19).
Categorical Blessing or Punishment
The number, 7, can refer to Categorical Blessing
or Punishment. In Pharaoh's dream, the seven sleek and fat cows represented
seven years of prosperity, while the seven ugly and lean cows represented
seven years of famine (Gen
41:1-4, 26-27). There are categories of punishment in the cycles
of national discipline (Lev
26:18, 21, 24, 28). Anyone who touched a corpse would be unclean
for seven days (Num
19:11). For punishment of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, Nebuchadnezzar
heated the furnace seven times more than usual (Dan
3:19), and later Nebuchadnezzar was punished for seven periods (Dan
4:16).
Categories of blessing or punishment are also
reserved for the individual. Obedience to Bible Doctrine leads to
the Cycle
of Blessing with the fullness of blessing from God, while disobedience
to the Word leads to Categorical
Punishment. Man has a choice. He can obey God and suffer
(Heb
10:38-39), or he can sow to the wind and reap the whirlwind (Hos
8:7; Luk 9:25).
The Judgments in Revelation include seven Trumpets
(Rev
8:6), and seven Bowl Judgments (Rev
15:7).
Unlimited Atonement
The great Day of Atonement was observed by Israel
"in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month" (Lev.
16:29-30; 25:9). On that day the blood of a bull and a goat was
sprinkled once on the Mercy
Seat and seven times on the ground before the Ark
of the Covenant (Lev.
16:14-15). The blood on the Mercy Seat represented propitiation
(the satisfaction of God the Father with the blood that symbolized the
blood of Christ). The blood sprinkled seven times on the ground represented:
(1) categorical completion of atonement, i. e. unlimited atonement
(1
Tim 2:6, 4:10; Rom 5:6, 18; Tit 2:11; 2 Pet 3:9; 1 Jn 2:2), and (2)
resumption of obedience to the Mosaic
Covenant, which had been broken when a person sinned.
Purification for Sin (Rebound)
On the Day of Atonement the blood of the bull and
goat was sprinkled on the Altar of Incense seven times to purify it (Ex
30:10; Lev. 16:16-17). The Altar of Incense symbolized the prayer
life and the relationship of the Levitical priests to God. The blood
was also sprinkled seven times on the Brazen
Altar to purify it (Lev.
16:18, 20, 33). Note, the interpretation of the Altar in these
verses as the Brazen Altar may not appear logical at first, but the context
is referring to purification of the entire Tabernacle. Both altars
were purified.
At other times the blood of a bull was sprinkled
seven times to purify the High Priest, the priests, and the congregation
of Israel from sin (Lev.
4:5-6, 14-17). In these cases, sprinkling seven times represented:
(1) categorical completion of the forgiveness of sin as in 1 John 1:9,
"He forgives us our sins and He purifies us from all wrongdoing,"
and (2) resumption of obedience to the Mosaic Covenant, which had been
broken when a person sinned.
Light
There were 7 lamps on the Golden Lampstand in the
Tabernacle. It was the only light in the Holy Place. Light
is a category of 7 colors of the rainbow.
Marriage
Although Right Man and Right Woman are a pair of
two, Marriage is also categorical completion of a system. In the
order of creation, man and woman were not created at the same time.
Man, as represented by the number, 6, was created first (Genesis 2:7),
and the woman was created later (Gen 2:22). When God brought the
woman to the man, it represented the completion of the category, or male-female
system of Right Man - Right Woman. A category is represented by the
number, 7. In the sequence, the man, 6, is given the woman, who completes
(7) him. Jacob served 7 years for Rachel; and after he was tricked
by Laban, he served another 7 years for her (Genesis
29:18, 20, 27, 30). The marriage feast usually lasted seven days
(Genesis
29:27-28; Judges 14:12).
Oaths and Contracts
The Hebrew ub^v#,
(sheba` ), means seven, and the verb form ub^v*,
(shaba` ) means to take an oath, or make a contract. Abraham
gave Abimelech 7 ewe lambs to ratify a contract for the well at Beersheba
(Genesis
21:29-32).
Heavenly Control Room
There are seven lamps, eyes, horns, and Spirits in
the Heavenly
Control Room (Rev
4:5; 5:6).
There were seven stars, corresponding to the first
seven planets visible from Earth, in the hand of Christ. Note, Earth
is not counted, since it is the point of observation, and the Last Adam
(Pluto) is not counted since it represents the body of Christ being described.
There were also seven lampstands, which represent the seven churches, that
sustained the Roman Empire through blessing by association (Rev
1:20).
Conclusion
The year, 2007, stands for a category. The
year, 2007, is the completion of a category of single-digit numbers beginning
in 2001 that represent divine production. The seven years, 2001 through
2007, represent the Cycle
of Blessing for those who are positive to God and the Cycle of Cursing,
or Categorical
Punishment, to those who are negative. The year, 2007, will bring
the fullness of blessing from God for winners; but for losers who have
sown to the wind, it will bring Categorical
Punishment. For winners, 2007, will be an opportunity to enjoy
the blessings of Grace in Love and harmony. But for losers, 2007
will bring the pressure of Momentum Testing, or Categorical Punishment
(Heb
12:4-11).
The number, 7, also represents the completion
of the Right Man by the Right Woman in Marriage. Male and female
are created as a system in the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.
The man, represented by the number, 6, comes first in the sequence, and
the completion of the category, or system by the woman is represented by
the number, 7. Of course, the harmony with the woman depends upon
Spiritual rapport with God.
Since the heavens are a completed category from
creation, the year, 2007, could bring new enlightenment from signs in the
sky. It could also bring cursing for those who reject divine design
of the heavens.
For those who have been called to live in this
period of human history, it is a rare opportunity to utilize Bible Doctrine.
The single digit numbers will come true each year. Each year bears
special significance in the Spiritual Life and in Spiritual Warfare.
The single-digit years of a millennium have only occurred once before in
the Church Age.
-
2001 - the unity of God
-
2002 - divine division
-
2003 - the Justice of the Holy Spirit
-
2004 - weakness
-
2005 - grace or a giant
-
2006 - man
-
2007 - categorical blessing or punishment
-
2008 - new birth
-
2009 - Plagues of Egypt
-
2010 - Laws of Establishment
This sequence means that God is evangelizing the
world and testing believers in the Spiritual Life. The issue is not
worldly success or prosperity. It is response to the Love of God.
Those who defy God will be judged, and those who obey him will be tested
and promoted on the battlefield.
In 2001,
the color for unity was white. In 2002,
the color for God's separation was orange. In 2003,
the color for the Justice of God the Holy Spirit was violet. In 2004,
the color for weakness in capacity for life was yellow. In 2005,
the color for Grace will be white/yellow. In 2006,
the color for man is red, for sin. In 2007, the color depends on
the category. A category of blessing would be a different color from
a category of punishment. But after the punishment, there should
be a rainbow.
